Join us July 12 for breakfast and “Business Continuity and Communications: Will Your Plan Work in an Active Shooter Scenario?” This table-top exercise for communications professionals will help you understand the scope of the problems you may face, benchmark with other organizations and experts, and learn ways you can enhance your programs to operate effectively. 

Vanessa VaughnOur speaker is Vanessa S. Vaughn, president and CEO of Asfalis, an enterprise resilience consulting firm specializing in strategies that enhance security and awareness in crisis and emergency situations. She is a certified business continuity professional and was the first woman in Georgia to graduate with a B.A. in Homeland Security and Emergency Management. She is also an instructor at Queens University in the McColl School of Business Executive Leadership Institute, where she teaches disaster recovery and business continuity management. She was a finalist for the 2017 Charlotte Chamber of Commerce Entrepreneur of the Year Award.
