ABOUT OPPORTUNITY:

Our client is one of the nation’s largest asset management firms. Due to their continued growth and success, they are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Writer to join their marketing communications team in Pittsburgh. This role will provide the opportunity to work with portfolio managers and senior investment personnel.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Write commentaries, newsletters, articles, and collateral as needed for internal and external audiences
  • Provide consistent messaging regarding the corporate brand
  • Interview senior investment professionals and portfolio managers to gain insights into products
  • Identify global economic trends and communicate events to internal and external clients

BACKGROUND REQUIREMENTS:

  • 7+ years of financial writing experience
  • In depth knowledge of domestic and global stock and bond market, mutual funds and separately managed accounts
  • BA/BS degree required, with preference to Finance or Economics degrees. MBA/CFA preferred
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communications skills
  • Excellent computer skills including word processing, desktop publishing, charting and graphics programs
